Axe Game - Production Focus: modeling and texturing
The objective of this work, was product the digital models that it likes as possible with the real models. For this porpose, was used photographs and digital paint to compose each Difuse Map.
A simple Workflow about this process:
01 - First off all, was creat a Base Mesh for all femele and male body models, using for this, images samples about the site www.3d.sk to compose de Generic Model Sheet ;
02 - For the faces, was use a simple technique about modeling: created a object plane and in this, maped a image face of the models and then, start the modeling add some edge loops and moves in each new vertice (modeling the faces using this method by Amilton Diesel);
03 - Weld the face withe the body modeling and fine adjusts in UV Layout;
04 - In the game, the same model will be shows with diferents clothes, so, the head, hair, body, clothes and shoes received own ID Material to creat this look;
05 - For Difuse Map was use the Digital Painting Techniques with some photographs about www.3d.sk to compose this map, after pass, created the Occlusion Maps to more dramtic visual;
06 - After all, rigging, skining, animation and exporting for Game Engine. That is.
